UPPER LEVEL PLAN
Rawlins Design has restored and subtly updated a 1972 Fire Island masterpiece by Horace Gifford. The Rosenthal Residence is a sleek composition of two elliptical towers canted between a diamond-shaped, sunken living area with walls of glass. Finishes, fixtures, doors, and windows were restored or replaced in kind.
Outside, a new ramped entryway, a garage for electric tricycles, and a custom trash enclosure allows the elderly, original patrons of this fine house to maintain residence at the beach.
